On 28th October 2017, Mercantile Claims attended the Scotty’s Little Soldiers Ball. We were the proud gold sponsor of the event and were truly honoured to be part of such a great event in aid of a fantastic cause.
We are delighted to announce that the event managed to raise an incredible £22,000! The money raised allows the charity to provide support to children, by sending gifts on birthdays and at Christmas, providing restaurant vouchers, tickets for days out and enabling the use of Scotty’s lodges at times when they may need a break.
Further support is provided in the way of bereavement counselling and the charity also provides opportunities for personal development, by funding educational activities such as swimming, driving and music lessons. Higher education grants are also provided and an exclusive party takes place for members at Christmas.
We are humbled to have had the opportunity to support the event and we wish Scotty’s Little Soldiers every success in future fundraising ventures.
